Order up a bowl and your eyes will be smiling at all of the beans and pasta brimming over the edge and piled high. Take a whiff and your mouth will start salivating at the aromas coming off of the steam rising. Dig in and try your first spoon and taste the perfect combination of soup, beans, pasta, spices, salt and everything a soup should be.

Best egg and cheese sandwich I ever ate and I (sadly) could say I have eaten hundreds, perhaps thousands of egg ham and cheese sandwiches in my life (Hell in the past 5-10 years). It may be the perfect food. Of course I wanted to know what all the excitement was about the 'pork roll egg and cheese sandwich'. Well, it was the most perfect egg cheese pork yumminess I could imagine eating!! wowowow: i'm literally salivating as I write this and crave more!

Franks is cozy and always a great place to get some grub! Their versatility is amazing. They go from making terrific pork roll egg and cheeses to a delicious plate of chocolate chip pancakes. The club sandwiches never disappoint. When I walk into franks and see the older decor I get a nice warm feeling. From The booths to the barstools its as classic as they come. It's a must stop in kinda place..

If I could give Franks 8 stars, I would! It has all of the factors: 1. The food is excellent. 2. Family owned. 3. Cheap as hell. 4. Excellent service. I really can't say enough how much I love this place!

Love Franks! Waitress was nice and personable. Woman at the counter was funny, made me laugh. My breakfast was delicious and price was perfect! Would definitely recommend Franks for breakfast, will have to come back for lunch!

This place is awesome - an old gem amongst the newer, trendier brunch spots that have opened up in AP over the past few years. The interior is very retro and menu is basic diner/deli fare. Sit at the counter - the experience is out of a movie. There's a waitress named "Red" who is on first name basis with all the patrons. You can tell the place is frequented by local regulars, and the food quality is excellent. My Western omelette was delicious and my boyfriend's corned beef hash was so yummy. Fresh squeezed OJ is always appreciated. I rarely eat the toast that comes with my omelette, but they make their own bread - delicious! Definitely one of the better breakfast spots in the area - and super affordable!
